Indian Oil official lauds Sobha Singh gallery’s cultural legacy

Ashutosh Gupta, Executive Director, Indian Oil Corporation, Chandigarh, visited the Sobha Singh Art Gallery here on Saturday and expressed deep appreciation for its rich artistic and cultural offerings.

He showed keen interest in the displayed artworks and rare artefacts, spending considerable time viewing paintings depicting Indian ethos, Sikh Gurus, tribal life and other thematic compositions. Gupta praised the depth, detail and universal appeal of the works showcased at the gallery.

In the Visitors’ Book, he wrote: “Truly blessed to visit Sobha Singh Art Gallery. The paintings on Indian anthology, Sikh Gurus, tribes, etc., are great works of art and have been recognised across the globe. The art gallery, museum and studio have been maintained beautifully by the family.”

Gupta was accompanied by his wife and senior officials, including Mohammad Amin, Divisional Sales Head, and Akshender Singh, Retail Sales Manager. On the occasion, Dr Hirday Paul Singh, Communication Director of the gallery, presented him with a book highlighting the life and artistic legacy of renowned painter Sobha Singh.
