Inter-state drug supplier arrested from Bhiwani

The Solan police nabbed an inter-state supplier of heroin from Bhiwani in Haryana yesterday. He was operating in New Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab, besides Himachal.

“The police thoroughly examined technical and physical evidence while scanning backward linkages in a case of drug seizure where two Kaithal residents Pradeep and Mohit were arrested a few weeks ago. The evidence pointed towards the involvement of yet another Haryana resident. A police team arrested Sonu (30), a resident of Kaithal, from Bhiwani on Wednesday evening. He was produced before a court, which remanded him in four days police custody,” said SP, Solan, Gaurav Singh.

Sonu faces another case of heroin peddling; the Kalayat police in Haryana had recovered 24 gram of the contraband from his possession. A probe was still underway.
