Kangra college to organise men’s basketball championship

The MCM DAV College, Kangra, which is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), is set to host the North Zone Inter-University Basketball (men) Championship from January 27 to 31. Over 50 universities from north India are set to participate in the tournament.

The participating universities have been appealed to confirm their participation in the championship by informing the college’s principal telephonically. Universities are also required to provide information about the number of participants and details of team manager, team coach and contingent incharge before January 26.

A meeting of all the managers and coaches of the teams will also be held on January 26. The university has urged all the managers and coaches to attend the meeting where all the necessary instructions will be given. Eligibility proformas of the participating teams will be collected at the time of the meeting.
