Kazakhstan visit exposed students to global work culture: Himachal Technical Education Minister Dharmani
Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani has said the exposure visit of ITI students to Kazakhstan provided them with practical knowledge of modern technology and global work culture.
Dharmani, who led a team of 30 students of ITIs, arrived at Bilaspur today. The Department of Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training had organised the visit to expose students to modern industries, engineering systems, global education and innovation. Director, Technical Education, Rohit Rathore was also present with Dharmani.
The minister said the objective of the International Exposure Programme was to help ITI trainees strengthen their technical skills and prepare themselves for industries in the future. He said such study tours play an important role in developing innovation, quality, discipline, self-confidence and global outlook among the youth.
Technical Education Director Rohit Rathore said the delegation visited various industrial unit and institutions, including Samal Water Bottling Plant, that has a modern water purification unit and automated bottle manufacturing. At Rakhat Chocolate Factory, they had a closer look at chocolate manufacturing and working of a large-scale food processing industry.
The trainees also visited the Green Market and studied local agricultural products, handicrafts, traditional food items and market management system, which gave them information about various dimensions of local economy and entrepreneurship.
He said teachers, including Associate Professor Aitolkin Ashimova of Turan University, highlighted the importance of effective communication, while Prof Alisher Kadyrov educated the visiting students on reforms in the higher education system in Kazakhstan.
