Kisan samiti to launch stir on Sept 24

SHIMLA:The Himachal Kisan Sabha, the Progressive Growers Association and the HP Seb Utpadak Sangh here on Thursday formed the Kisan Sangharsh Samiti (KSS) and announced the launch of a protest march from Narkanda on September 24 against the failure of the BJP government to protect the apple farmers of the state against exploiting commission agents and exposing the slogans of theCentral Government for doubling farmersincome by 2022.

The Himachal Kisan Sabha, the Progressive Growers Association and the HP Seb Utpadak Sangh here on Thursday formed the Kisan Sangharsh Samiti (KSS) and announced the launch of a protest march from Narkanda on September 24 against the failure of the BJP government to protect the apple farmers of the state against exploiting commission agents and exposing the slogans of the Central Government for doubling farmers income by 2022. 

Addressing a press conference here, convener of the newly formed KSS Rakesh Singha said apple farmers of Karsog, 

Innaur, Anni, Nirmand, Rampur, Nankhari, Baggi, Naur Tikkar, Kotgarh, Kumarsain, Matiana, Theog and Shilaru would take part in the protest march from Narkanda on September 24. 

This movement will be launched against the exploitation by commission agents he announced.
