Majority of the decisions taken by the Himachal Cabinet over the last three years have been implemented as only 44 of the 1160 decisions are pending. Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi today presided over a meeting of the Cabinet sub-committee here today. The meeting reviewed the implementation of decisions taken in the Cabinet meetings since the formation of the Congress government in the state. The other two members of the committee, Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani and Ayush Minister Yadvinder Goma, were also present at the meeting.
It was informed that out of a total of 1,160 decisions taken by the Cabinet, 1,116 decisions have been successfully implemented. Discussions were held on the remaining 44 decisions, which relate to Finance, Health, Industries, Jal Shakti, Multipurpose Projects and Power, Tourism and Transport departments.
Negi directed the officers to ensure time-bound implementation of the remaining decisions so that the general public can benefit. Dharmani said every officer and employee of the state government is accountable to the public and such all pending decisions must be implemented on priority. Additional Chief Secretary RD Nazeem, Additional Chief Secretary Shyam Bhagat Negi and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
