Man found dead near Jalal Bridge in Renuka Ji area in Sirmaur district

A man was found dead near Jalal Bridge in the Shri Renuka Ji area of Sirmaur district on Monday morning.

According to information received, the body was spotted near the bridge connecting the Baila area with Shri Renuka Ji. Local residents informed the police, following which a team immediately reached the spot and took the body into custody.

The deceased was identified as Rameshwar, a resident of Tirmali village. Sources said he had reportedly been living in fear for the past two days and had expressed apprehension that someone was following him. Police officials inspected the spot and questioned nearby residents as part of the preliminary investigation.

The body was later sent to Dadahu Hospital for post-mortem. Officials said a case had been registered and an investigation was underway to examine all possible angles.
