Met office warns of thunderstorm

Shimla: The local MeT office on Wednesday warned of thunderstorm accompanied by hail in mid hills of Himachal over the next 48 hours due to fresh western disturbances and predicted another wet spell in the region over the next four days upto November 4.

The local MeT office on Wednesday warned of thunderstorm accompanied by hail in mid hills of Himachal over the next 48 hours due to fresh western disturbances and predicted another wet spell in the region over the next four days upto November 4.

Thunderstorm accompanied by hail is likely at isolated places in the mid hills on November 1 and 2, while rain and thundershowers would occur at many places in the mid hills on November 2 and 3, the Met office said and predicted rain or thundershowers at isolated places in the lower and mid hills and rain or snow at some places in the higher hills from November 1 to 4.

The sky remained partially overcast in the region and chilly winds swept the region.
