A 24-year-old Mohali tourist who went paragliding in Kullu district’s Solang Valley died in a crash on Saturday, police said.
Amandeep Singh Sovti was killed when the pilot, Ranveer Singh, lost control of the paraglider, which came crashing down. Ranveer Singh, a 32-year-old resident of Manali’s Barua village, was seriously wounded in the incident.
Sovti, who lived in Phase 2, Mohali, was visiting Kullu district with a friend.
Kullu Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri said police had registered a case, and that tourist’s body would be handed over to his family after autopsy.
