Hamirpur, April 10
“I am moved by the love and affection people have showered on the birthday of Prem Kumar Dhumal, former Chief Minister of the state”, said Anurag Thakur Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, at his home at Sameerpur, near here, today.
Dhumal was not present at home and Anurag attended all guests and expressed his gratitude for their wishes to the veteran leader on his 79th birthday. He said that Dhumal had always helped the people of Hamirpur and the state.
He said Dhumal as Chief Minister, focused on development works. “He is known as a Chief Minister who gave priority to roads, education and health. It was during his tenure that the remotest village of Dodrakwar got a road,” he added.
