MP donates ambulance to Bir paragliding assn
Rajya Sabha MP and senior BJP leader Indu Goswami donated an ambulance to the Bir Billing Paragliding Association (BPA) at an event organised at Bir last afternoon.
Goswami said, keeping in view the working conditions of the BPA, she donated the ambulance. As assured by the BPA, the vehicle would be stationed at the landing point and would be available in emergencies to evacuate paragliders, she added.
She said, earlier, the BPA had to call the ambulances from Baijnath or Jogindernagar, both 12 km from the landing site, to shift the injured pilots to hospitals. Association president Anurag Sharma thanked the MP for her gesture.
