The Fresher’s–cum–Farewell Party for the academic session 2025-26 was organised at Kullu Valley School (KVS) at Verma Cottage on Monday. Principal Sanjeev Bhardwaj said such occasions went beyond celebration and served as platforms to strengthen bonds among students.
“The party symbolises continuity in the life of the school. While we bid farewell to one batch that has contributed immensely to our legacy, we also welcome a new group of students who will carry this legacy forward,” he said.
A major highlight of the programme was the announcement of Mr KVS and Miss KVS for 2025-26. Kartikeshwar Singh was conferred the title of Mr KVS in the recognition of his confidence, leadership qualities and consistent participation in academic and co-curricular activities. Kritika Tharmani was crowned Miss KVS for her grace, articulate expression and commendable involvement in scholastic and cultural spheres.
The principal congratulated both students and said that they exemplified the ethos of the institution. “Excellence at Kullu Valley School is not limited to academic achievement. It encompasses character, responsibility, creativity and the ability to inspire others. Both Kartikeshwar and Kritika have demonstrated these qualities,” he added.
The evening featured vibrant cultural performances by students, showcasing their artistic talent and enthusiasm. Speeches by the members of the outgoing batch added an emotional touch.
The formal proceedings concluded with a DJ session and lunch.
