Nalagarh’s Doon Valley Public School was conferred the Green School Certificate for the fourth consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and eco-conscious education.
The award was conferred in Delhi recently and was received by Vice-Principal Sandeep Kaushal and a team of students, comprising Ranveer Singh and Kavya Yadav.
The achievement is particularly significant as only 20 schools from the state were nominated for the recognition, highlighting the school’s consistent efforts in promoting green practices.
The school’s students actively participated in the green pitch competition organised during the event and secured the second position, impressing the jury with their innovative, practical and impactful environmental ideas.
