Nauni varsity’s foundation day



The Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, will celebrate its 36th foundation day on December 1. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya will preside over the function while Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will be the chief guest. Horticulture Minister Mahender Singh, Agriculture Minister Virender Kanwar, Health and Family Welfare Minister Rajiv Saizal and Forest Minister Rakesh Pathania will be the guests of honour. The celebrations will be held both online and offline on the main campus, various research stations and Krishi Vigyan Kendras. Progressive farmers and meritorious students will be awarded during the function. The achievements of the university in the past year will be highlighted.

18 Minerva students excel

As per the first merit list issued by Himachal Pradesh University, 18 students of the Minerva Group of Institution, Ghumarwin, have got admission to six different medical colleges in the state. Principal Parvesh Chandel extended best wishes to all achievers, their parents and the entire faculty and staff members.

HP Children’s Science Congress

The Himachal Pradesh Children's Science Congress-2020 was organised online on Saturday, in which students of MCMDAV Baghni (Nurpur) School performed excellently. In science activity corner, Class VIII student Kaushal secured the first position. Pankaj Kumar of Class X got the third position in the science activity corner for seniors. Amish Guleria, a student of Class XII, secured the second position in Maths Olympiad. Pranab Singh of Class X also secured the second position in Maths Olympiad.
