Negi to preside over Kinnaur R-Day event

Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi will preside over the district-level Republic Day celebrations at ITBP ground in Reckong Peo, Kinnaur. Deputy Commissioner, Kinnaur, Amit Kumar Sharma, while presiding over a meeting organised to review the preparations for the Republic Day celebrations, said the function would start at 11 am at the ITBP Ground.

The events at the celebrations include a march-past by the men and women police personnel, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Home Guard soldiers and NCC students. A colourful cultural programme will also be organised. Apart from this, employees and other persons related to the district will also be honored by the chief guest for excellent work.

Kalpa SDM Dr Major Shashank Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Om Prakash Yadav, Deputy Superintendent of Police Naveen Jhalata and other officials of the district were present at the meeting.
