NHPC transfers solar streetlights to 3 panchayats

Dalhousie, October 17

Eco-friendly solar streetlights installed by NHPC’s Chamera Power Station-I, Khairi, at Rupani, Rajnagar and Bhanouta panchayats in Chamba district were transferred to the panchayats today.

Power station general manager MA Padmanabhachara said nine solar streetlights each in Rupani and Bhanouta and five streetlights in Rajnagar were installed on the request of the panchayat pradhans under the Corporate Social Responsibility plan of the company. — OC
