NIFT students display their skills at ‘Fashionova’

KANGRA:Students of the department of fashion technology, NIFT-Kangra, presented their annual research work during an exhibition — ‘Technova’ — organised on the campus here on Tuesday.

Kangra, May 28 

Students of the department of fashion technology, NIFT-Kangra,  presented their annual  research work during an exhibition — ‘Technova’ — organised on the campus here on Tuesday. The students displayed their works on graphics and promotions, advertising and marketing, retail and branding for leading national and international brands. 

Students of the textile design department displayed their products at another exhibition, ‘Tantu’. 

The events were inaugurated by Rajeev Dar, a consultant with Illinois  University, Shardha Murlidharan, DG, NIFT,  and campus director Sibichan K Mathew.

 ‘Fashionova’, a colourful event by 36 budding fashion designers, at the Tanda medical college auditorium was the main attraction.  Shardha Murlidharan appreciated the efforts of the students . — OC
