Nigerian arrested for drug peddling

SOLAN: The police on Friday arrested a 36-year-old Nigerian, Augustine Chimbuyeke, and 21-year-old Uttar Pradesh resident Yunis Khan from Delhi.

The police on Friday arrested a 36-year-old Nigerian, Augustine Chimbuyeke, and 21-year-old Uttar Pradesh resident Yunis Khan from Delhi. The duo supplied heroin to the local youth here.

The police had on August 7 arrested three youths with 17-gm heroin in Dharampur. Augustine Chimbuyeke is the second Nigerian to be arrested under the NDPS Act in the past eight days. The accused were produced before a local court, which sent them to four-day police custody. Additional SP Shiv Kumar Sharma said the passport of Chimbuyeke could not be traced.
