a small patch of the Sukki Jori-Sanwar road near Dharampur was repaired by the PWD last year after its retaining wall had collapsed. The department has, however, forgotten
to metal it, causing inconvenience to motorists. The surface is bumpy and poses as a safety threat for two-wheeler riders. It should be repaired immediately so that people do not face problems. — Vinod, Dharampur
No connection to water tank
in Sujana, a village near Shimla, a water tank has been constructed near a temple to provide water to the temple. However, the connection to the new tank has not been provided despite several requests to the authorities concerned. As a result, water is brought in vehicles from a faraway source. The authorities should provide the connection at the earliest. — Residents of Sujana
