Nod to proposals worth Rs 377.45 cr

The State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC and MA) on Monday approved 12 proposals for setting up of new industrial units and expansion of the existing ones involving an investment of Rs 377.45 crores and employment generation for 690 persons.

The meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. The new proposals approved by the authority include proposal of M/s Vision Fresh and Frozen, Village Shyampura, Haroli, Una, M/s Ravi Enterprises village Rakh, Tehsil Palampur in Kangra. M/s A.G Dauters Waste Processing Private Limited, village Behdala in district Una and M/s My Shimla Fruit Players Pvt. Ltd., village Baghari, Kumarsain, district Shimla.

The expansion proposals include M/s Morepen Laboratories Limited, village Malkumajra at Baddi in Solan, M/s ITC Limited, Baddi, M/s Alpla India Pvt. Ltd Unit-II, village Kaundi in Solan, M/s N.S Industries Unit-II, at Gondpur in Paonta Sahib, M/s RCI Industries and Technologies Ltd, Baddi and M/s Friends Alloys, village Bated, Baddi, M/s Jaiswal Metals Private Limited at Kala Amb and M/s Himalaya Communications Ltd in Baddi. — TNS
