Palampur, June 27
Sanjay Dutt, senior Congress leader and in-charge of state affairs, today said the people were fed up with the BJP over poor governance, rising inflation and unemployment and had made up their mind to oust the party from power.
Addressing Congress workers here, Sanjay Dutt said he had visited all parts of the state in the past two months and saw enthusiasm among people towards the Congress. It was clear that the BJP was now a guest for a few days.
He said the Jai Ram government did not work for the welfare of the people. The development was seen only in a few selected constituencies. Now as the Assembly elections were approaching near, Thakur was visiting other parts of the state daily and making announcements which were only confined to files.
“Back-door appointments in two-three selected constituencies will also be a major issue in the election. When the Congress comes to power, an inquiry will be initiated,” he said.
He said the Congress would fight the coming elections unitedly to oust the BJP from power.
