Post-protests, varsity in Himachal Pradesh puts off classes

Dharamsala, February 24

Amid rising protests by students demanding permanent campus for the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), the varsity administration today decided to suspend classes till March 2.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists organised protests outside the varsity’s temporary campus and the Registrar’s residence. They said the varsity students were facing difficulties in the absence of a permanent campus.
