Prabodh Saxena, Chairman of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd (HPSEBL), on Friday reviewed the progress of the sanctioned hydroelectric power projects in the Churah Assembly constituency.

Saxena inspected the Seikothi-I, Seikothi-II, Devikothi and Hail project sites, interacted with local residents and took detailed feedback from officials concerned to assess the preparedness for starting the long-pending projects.

The HPSEBL has four sanctioned power projects in Churah region, namely Seikothi-I, Seikothi-II, Devikothi and Hail. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had laid the foundation stone of the Seikothi-I and Seikothi-II projects on August 4 this year.

Meanwhile, Saxena interacted with residents of the areas around the Seikothi projects and held discussions with officials to take feedback on the upcoming hydroelectric power initiatives.
