Dr Hardeep Thakur, principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Badran, was invited by the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) and NCERT, New Delhi, as a resource person for a national-level session. Thakur addressed the session on January 2. He shared his experiences and insights on ‘Transformative Changes in School Leadership.’ On returning, he received a rousing welcome at the school.
Thakur said that inclusive approach and techniques to inspire collective efforts played a pivotal role in creating a positive, innovative and growth-oriented educational environment at PM SHRI Government Utkrist Senior Secondary School at Badaran. He said apart from academic excellence, he opted for introducing digital integration, experiential learning practices and student-centric activities at the school for better results and enhanced understanding.
He added that it was collective teamwork that led to all round development of students in the school. As a result, noticeable positive changes were observed in students learning outcomes, confidence levels and engagement in academic as well as co-curricular activities.
Thakur expressed his sincere gratitude to all teachers and staff members for placing their trust, cooperation and continuous support with him. He stated that the recognition was not an individual achievement but the result of collective efforts by the entire school family. He reaffirmed his commitment to working with the same enthusiasm and dedication to take the school to even greater heights.
