Renowned Punjabi singer Babbu Maan and the famous orchestra of Himachal Pradesh Police, ‘Harmony of Pines’, performed on the first cultural evening of the four-day national-level Holi festival here on Sunday. Besides, several star artistes from Himachal Pradesh thoroughly entertained the audience.
Babbu Maan took the stage around 10.20 pm and enthralled the crowd with his popular Punjabi songs. The youth, in particular, danced enthusiastically to the tunes of his songs till late night. He performed his most intense numbers, ‘Mittran di Chattri ton Ud Gayi’ , ‘Mere Dil Vich Tera Ghar Hove’, ‘Son di Chari ni Son di Chari’ ect. While the Harmony of Pines performed on various filmy and folk songs.
