Rain to continue in Himachal Pradesh; yellow alert issued for six districts

Light rain is set to continue in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday as the state’s Meteorological Department has issued a yellow weather warning for Shimla, Kullu, Kangra, Kinnaur, Chamba and Lahaul and Spiti districts for Thursday.

The department has forecast light rain along with gusty winds in these districts. Weather in the rest of the state is expected to remain normal.

Minimum temperature in Shimla is 12.8 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala 18.6 degrees Celsius, Manali 8.9 degrees Celsius, Solan 11.7 degrees Celsius, Kangra 16.5 degrees Celsius, Mandi 15.1 degrees Celsius, Bilaspur 19 degrees Celsius, Paonta Sahib 24 degrees Celsius, Nahan 17.1 degrees Celsius, Una 18.2 degrees Celsius, Bhuntar 10.5 degrees Celsius and Kalpa 5.2 degrees Celsius.
