The Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology at Dr GC Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, successfully conducted a three-day refresher course titled “Toxicological Information in Animal Treatment”. The programme aimed to enhance the expertise of veterinary officers from the State Department of Animal Husbandry in managing animal health issues related to toxicity.

At the closing ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof Naveen Kumar emphasised the need for research on the impact of toxic plants on livestock. He urged veterinary officers to collaborate with university researchers to better understand region-specific plant toxicity.
