Register online ahead of wheat procurement: Himachal State Civil Supplies Corporation to farmers

The Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation will be the nodal agency for procurement of wheat from farmers at MSP (minimum support price). Those interested in selling their produce can register online on the portal from March 1, an official communiqué from the department said today.
District Food and Civil Supplies Controller Rajiv Sharma said the government had fixed the MSP for wheat at Rs 2,585 per quintal and the farmers interested in selling their produce to the corporation can register on the online portal https://hpapp.nic.in after March 1.
He added that the wheat procurement by the department will be done from April 8 to June 15 at the procurement centres in Rampur and Takarla villages of Una district.
Sharma added the payment will be transferred online to the bank accounts of the farmers. He said in case of any difficulty during online registration, the farmers can call the office of the Regional Manager of the corporation, Hamirpur, on 01972-223922 or at the office of Una district Civil Supplies Corporation on 01975-226016 for assistance.
