Two families at Kaloh village under Rajgarh sub-division of Sirmaur district have been living in constant fear with a leopardess delivering two cubs near their houses around 4 pm on Thursday.

Anuj Sharma, among the 11 residents living there, said the leopardess had been visiting the village for the last four days and it killed some domestic animals, including his dog.

Though the villagers informed the Forest Department officials, the wild cat and its cubs were yet to be shifted to some other place.

Fearing for their lives, the villagers said they had confined themselves to their houses and were finding it tough to even do their daily chores.
