With the Congress flaying the government for spending a huge amount on the ‘Abhar’ rally in Dharamsala last month to celebrate its one year in office, Consumer Affairs Minister Kishan Kapoor today posed a counter-question to Congress leaders asking them to explain who had borne the expenses of its rally in December 2016 when Rahul Gandhi was the chief guest.
The Congress government had organised the rally to celebrate its four years in office.
In a statement issued here, Kapoor refused to give the expenditure details of the ‘Abhar’ rally which was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said Congress leaders were feeling restless due to a huge support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur from all quarters.
