Several vehicles were reportedly operating without valid permits and tax documents. Such vehicles were challaned on the spot as per the Motor Vehicles Act. Action was also taken against vehicles on which pressure horns were fitted. Himachal-registered vehicles were also found violating norms, and challans were issued accordingly.

Confirming the action, Sirmaur RTO Sona Chandel said most violations detected during the drive involved vehicles from Uttarakhand which were operating without valid permits and tax clearance.
