Run more buses for public convenience

THE government’s decision to run buses with 50 per cent occupancy is causing problems for passengers. As the number of buses is still the same, passengers have to wait for a long time to board a bus. It’s problematic for passengers, especially those who have to go far and there aren’t many buses on that route. The government should increase the number of buses to ensure people don’t face problems.

Masks not properly worn

even as Shimla has become a Covid hotspot, one can see people bringing their young children to markets without ensuring safety measures. Many don’t even check whether their child is wearing the mask properly. Most of the time the mask is not covering the nose of the children, leaving them susceptible to catching the infection.
