The life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda were more relevant today when the nation needed more spiritual strength to combat adverse forces from within and outside, said former CM Shanta Kumar.
Addressing a gathering today at Gian Jyoti College of Education in Rajol during a function organised by the local branch of Vivekananda Kendra Kanaya Kumari to mark the 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, he said Vivekananda Jayanti focused on the younger generation to bring them closer to their spiritual and cultural roots.
