Shimla: Bishop Cotton School, one of the oldest in North India, celebrated its 162nd founder’s day on Wednesday by going live on the BCS Facebook page, which was broadcasted from the historic Irwin Hall. The celebrations began by welcoming old Cottonians and writer, historian and guest speaker Raaja Bhasin. “This is all part of modernisation of the iconic boarding school as the world faces a multitude of challenges and we must promote the type of education envisaged by Bishop Cotton, which is as relevant today as it was in the 1850s,” said school director Simon Weale.
