Councillors voiced frustration over erratic supply in several wards and questioned delays in the Shakroli water scheme meant to enable 24x7 availability.

The corporation also decided to launch a unique identification system for 66,000 property owners, enabling access to tax and property details through QR-coded IDs offering 60 services from home.

On urban upkeep, the Mayor ordered swift repair of faulty streetlights, with 25–30 new lights to be installed immediately and a tender for 1,000 more already finalised. He further instructed the Forest Department to remove long-pending fallen trees and reviewed proposals to open new shops in Summer Hill and Boileauganj to raise municipal revenue.
