On urban upkeep, the Mayor ordered swift repair of faulty streetlights, with 25–30 new lights to be installed immediately and a tender for 1,000 more already finalised. He further instructed the Forest Department to remove long-pending fallen trees and reviewed proposals to open new shops in Summer Hill and Boileauganj to raise municipal revenue.
