“On February 8, two accused were caught with 30 g of heroin on a HRTC bus at the ISBT, Shimla. Investigation revealed the drugs were procured from Vijay in Zirakpur,” the SSP said. “Similarly, four accused arrested at Totu on February 2 with 11 g of heroin had also obtained it from Vijay. Other cases in Theog, Rampur and Kumarsain showed the same link,” he added.

Vijay is the kingpin who has supplied heroin to over 70 consumers in Shimla, Theog, Rampur and Rohru in recent months. He was previously arrested in Theog with 180 g of heroin in 2023 and is named in multiple criminal cases in Ambala Cantt and Theog in 2022 and 2023.
