Shoolini University took a major step into student-led science and space exploration with the launch of Astrovers, a new student space club dedicated to stargazing, astrophotography and space research.

The launch event began with an introduction by the student team. The club is led by Taranveer Kaur, with Arghya Pratim Ghosh and Kartikey Agarwal as core members. As part of the club’s mission to promote sky observation, a telescope was officially inaugurated. The skywatching session, led by Kartikey Agarwal, offered students their first hands-on experience using the telescope.

The initiative was supported and encouraged by Dr. Ashoo Khosla, Chief Learning Officer, and Prof. Neeraj Gandotra, Dean Student Welfare, along with team members Vipul and Pooja Verma.

The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the telescope by Prof. Gandotra and Dr Chetri. A demonstration followed, with students excitedly observing celestial objects under Kartikey’s guidance, marking a memorable beginning for Astrovers.
