Shortage of teachers

Student strength has been increasing in the Baddi -Barotiwala area but the number of teachers have remained more or less the same. Teachers are finding it tough to teach and control so many students. The government should appoint more teachers as early as possible.

— Naresh, Baddi

Ban tempo traveller

Allowing tempo travellers carrying tourists to be parked at the lift parking and other places in the city has worsened the traffic situation as the Shimla city is already battling with the problem of traffic jams. The parkings have become a major bottleneck. It takes 30 minutes to one hour to cross the Bemloe- Lift - Old Bustand stretch because of the heavy rush of vehicles near parkings. The big vehicles and tempo traveller should be banned in the city to provide breathing space to the residents.

— Hriday, Shimla

Need to ensure covid appropriate behaviour

The Covid surge has begun again in Shimla but people are not practising Covid-appropriate behaviour. There's a huge crowd in the city these days but hardly anyone is seen wearing a mask. It's high time people started taking precautions. — Surender, Shimla
