SJVNL pays Rs179.35 cr interim dividend to HP

Nand Lal Sharma, CMD of SJVNL, has said the company has paid Rs 179.35 crore as interim dividend to the Himachal Government. The dividend cheque was handed over to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. Sharma said that for financial year 2019-20, interim dividend of Rs 668.07 crore had been declared.
He added that Rs 400.32 crore had been paid to the Union Government and Rs 88.40 crore was being paid to public shareholders as interim dividend. The state government holds 26.85 per cent shares in the company, the Central Government 59.92 per cent while the remaining 13.23 per cent shares are with the public. TNS
