Snow, rain to continue in higher reaches of Himachal till March 29

Light snow and rain are set to continue across Himachal Pradesh till March 29. As per the state's meteorological department, snow and rain are expected to intensify across the state on March 26.

Minimum temperatures across the state are expected to rise by 2°C to 3°C, while maximum temperatures are expected to rise by 2°C to 5°C.

Meanwhile, the weather was mostly dry across the state during the last 24 hours, with very few areas witnessing light rain. Minimum temperatures across the state rose by 2°C to 3°C, while maximum temperatures dropped by 2°C to 5°C.

Minimum temperature in Shimla was 8.2°C, Dharamshala 8.9°C, Manali 6.2°C, Kangra 12.9°C, Mandi 12.3°C, Solan and Bilaspur 10°C each, Kalpa 2.6°C, Sundernagar 11.5°C, Bhuntar 9.6°C, Kufri 5.1°C, Kasauli 10.1°C, Paonta Sahib 15°C and Kukumseri 0.8°C.

The highest maximum temperature in the state was 29.4°C, which was recorded in Una, while the lowest minimum temperature in the state was minus 0.4°C, which was recorded in Tabo in the Lahaul and Spiti district.
