As snow gently descended, tourists gathered on the Mall Road, revelling in the magical atmosphere. Many of them were seen throwing snowballs, clicking photographs, taking selfies and recording videos to share on social media. For several visitors, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Arjun, a tourist from Delhi, described watching snow fall from the sky as one of the most beautiful moments of his life. He said that while he had seen snow before, witnessing active snowfall was an entirely new and memorable experience.

However, tourism activities remained vibrant despite snowfall. Four-by-four vehicles were permitted up to Solang Nala, allowing thousands of tourists to reach the snow-covered valley. Though regular traffic was restricted from going towards Solang Nala due to heavy snow accumulation, the visitors eagerly travelled in special vehicles and some even chose to explore the area on foot.

Beyond the Mall Road and Solang Nala, other local tourist spots were also buzzing with activities, as visitors flocked to nearby places to soak in the scenic beauty. The snow-covered mountains, pine forests, and serene valleys showcased Manali’s natural charm, reinforcing its reputation as a world-famous winter destination.
