South African High Commissioner calls on Himachal Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania

Anil Sooklal, High Commissioner of South Africa to India, visited the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly to pay a courtesy call on Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on Monday. Sooklal was accompanied by his wife Dr Nelistara Sooklal Singh and the Deputy High Commissioner of South Africa, Cedric C. Crowley. Pathania warmly welcomed the High Commissioner and honoured him and other guests with bouquets, shawls, and caps.
In-depth discussions were held on several important issues, including excellent diplomatic relations between India and South Africa. Pathania recalled that since the end of apartheid in South Africa in 1994, mutual relations between India and South Africa had strengthened and since then the two countries had established close strategic, cultural, diplomatic and business relations.
