MLA Rakesh Pathania today installed a steam vaporised sanitising (SVS) machine at the local civil hospital. Sanitisation by this machine is considered a safe and effective way of fighting Covid. After installing this machine, all patients, attendants and hospital staff are being sanitised before their entry into the hospital premises.

Pathania also dedicated an automatic scrubber machine costing Rs 10 lakh and a fully automatic washing machine costing Rs 17 lakh purchased from MLA funds to the hospital. On this occasion, he said two SVS machines would be dispatched to the Tanda Medical College, Kangra, and one to Government Medical College, Chamba.
