Sujanpur gets Rs 43.64 crore projects
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 10 development projects of Rs 43.64 crore in the Sujanpur Assembly constituency of Hamirpur district today. He laid the foundation stone of Rajiv Gandhi Model Day Boarding School at Karot village to be constructed at a cost of Rs 20.18 crore.
He inaugurated a water supply scheme to be set up at a cost of Rs 1.42 crore at Karot, a Rs 86 lakh library hall at Government Senior Secondary School, Kuthera, houses for doctors posted in the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Sujanpur Tira for Rs 1.78 crore, quarters for the paramedical staff posted in the CHC at Sujanpur for Rs 1.42 crore and a science lab at Government Senior Secondary School at Pounch in the Sujanpur constituency built at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a bus stand at Sujanpur to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.45 crore, Bakkar khud-Thalamber village link road for Rs 8.37 crore, lift water supply scheme at Chabutra to be set up for Rs 24 lakh and a village Puyad-Tikkari link road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.67 crore.
He said that these developmental projects would provide improved basic amenities to the people of Sujanpur. MLA Capt Ranjeet Singh Rana thanked the Chief Minister for allocating and inaugurating developmental projects in the constituency.
