Parmar, while addressing media persons here today, said that several key infrastructure projects in Sullah, which were initiated during the previous BJP government’s tenure, were still unfinished. “The incomplete buildings and stalled schemes stand as a testament to the government’s failure. If immediate steps are not taken to restart and complete these works, the government should be prepared to face a public movement,” he added.

Parmar said that a hospital building under construction at Bhawarna at a cost of Rs 25 crore was a major achievement of the previous BJP government but it is still incomplete. The work on the Thural hospital has also come to a halt.

He said that the expansion of community health centres, strengthening of sub-health centres and a proposal to upgrade the Sullah Primary Health Centre to a Community Health Centre were aimed at improving healthcare facilities for local residents but the work had not progressed under the Congress government.

He alleged that halting projects initiated by the previous BJP government reeked of a political vendetta and administrative inefficiency. “The Congress government has ignored development in Sullah. If prompt decisions are not taken, the BJP will launch a large public agitation,” he warned.
