Shimla, August 14
Expressing concern over the appointment of guest teachers in HP University instead of appointing regular ones, the High Court summoned the Registrar of the university along with record on August 20.
The court further asked him to inform it what steps the university had taken for filing the posts of teacher. A Division Bench passed this order on a petition filed by Dharampal, who alleged that the university was appointing guest teachers against the UGC norms.— OC
