Swimming assn chief bags national excellence award
The Deputy Director of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh, and president of the Himachal Pradesh Swimming Association, Vinay Kumar Dhiman, has been conferred with the Indian Excellence Award-2026 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the tourism sector and his efforts in promoting swimming and water sports among youth in the state.
The award was presented by Ladli Foundation, in collaboration with Himachal Rainbow Star Club and Govind Sagar Adventure and Water Sports Association.
Representatives of the organising bodies, said the award recognises Dhiman’s exemplary work in the Tourism Department and his commitment to encouraging athletes and strengthening swimming sports in Himachal Pradesh.
Dhiman expressed gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to public service.
