Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) schools run by the Tibetan government in-exile have been closed down amid fear of coronavirus.

TCV schools were to reopen today after annual winter vacation of about two months. However, the parents were in for a surprise today after they were informed by the authorities that the schools will remain closed for about next two months due to the threat of coronavirus. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
