Mandi, July 1

Traffic on the Chandigarh-Manali highway between Mandi and Kullu was restored on Friday morning.

The highway was blocked on Thursday evening following a landslide at 6 Mile, kilometres ahead of Mandi town on the road to Kullu.

A large number of vehicles were stuck.

Light vehicles were diverted via the Mandi-Kataula-Kullu route.

The movement of heavy vehicles was stopped beyond Mandi towards Kullu from the Mandi side and beyond Pandoh towards Mandi from the Kullu side.
